According to the United Nations, around 1.1 billion people currently live in urban slums or similar conditions \u2014 a number projected to rise to 3.1 billion over the next 30 years. The Tridealhouse units are designed with a strong focus on rainwater harvesting and storage, energy efficiency, sustainable materials, and urban agriculture. These homes are ideal for urban areas in developing countries, where affordable housing, food production, local micro-jobs, and sustainability must go hand in hand. The materials needed to be lightweight, strong, and weather-resistant \u2014 all without compromising on environmental friendliness. Tridealhouse required construction materials that could withstand tropical climates, deliver long-lasting performance, and remain easy to maintain.<\/p>\n

Fiberstruct\u2019s Contribution<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fiberstruct supplied GRP grating that met this challenge perfectly. These gratings are not only corrosion-resistant, low-maintenance, and durable, but they also significantly reduce weight compared to traditional materials like steel.
