GRP gratings for warehouse rackings
For the newly constructed Arentis facility in Terneuzen, Fiberstruct, a specialist in glass-reinforced plastic (GRP), supplied high-quality GRP gratings for a large number of warehouse racking systems. This project exemplifies the strong collaboration within the Syndus Group, where various divisions come together to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.
In this project, GRP gratings were specifically chosen due to their unique properties that perfectly meet the demands of warehouse racking in an industrial environment.
Why GRP gratings?
Why GRP gratings?
- Lightweight: This allows for easy installation and reduces the load on underlying structures, which is essential for large racking systems.
- Strong and Durable: Despite their lightweight nature, GRP gratings provide high strength and can bear heavy loads, making them ideal for industrial applications.
- Corrosion Resistant: In environments where metal gratings would corrode, GRP remains resistant to chemicals, moisture, and other damaging elements, significantly extending its lifespan.
- Safety: The anti-slip surface of GRP gratings enhances safety for workers operating on or near the racks.
Additionally, GRP gratings can be produced in various colors and sizes, offering flexibility in the design and layout of warehouses.
By choosing GRP gratings at Arentis, the functional efficiency of the warehouse is improved, while also ensuring durability and safety, aligning with the long-term vision of both Fiberstruct and Arentis. This project once again highlights the successful collaboration within the Syndus Group, where the synergy between different business units leads to innovative and customer-centric solutions.
