Glassfiber reinforced plastic gratings for offshore

Fiberstruct is proud to have contributed to this large-scale offshore windfarm. The windfarm was built off the coast of Zeebrugge, Belgium. The park was built in two phases, with a total planned capacity of 330 megawatts.

Fiberstruct was commissioned to provide the offshore structures with plastic gratings.

Corrosion resistant

GRP is corrosion resistant and requires less maintenance than steel. The durability of Fiberstruct GRP gratings and other GRP products reduce or eliminate the need for heavy maintenance. An import characteristic in the offshore world.

Safety

Choosing GRP gratings means choosing safety. Fiberstruct GRP gratings and stairs offer a superior, non-slip surface in wet and oily environments.
